Hello and welcome back!

Here are the updates on what they have learnt today, 5th August 2021.

Both P5/1 and P5/2 studied Grammar: Collective Nouns today. I introduced them our new online lesson integration site which is the www.liveworksheets.com. On this site, they can learn more about our weekly topics. It means, more extra practice on Everybody Up, Grammar and Word Bank. Worksheets are uploaded weekly, so they can focus on the weekly topics and they will not be flooded with worksheets. Previous topics are also removed. After we reviewed our books about the collective nouns for people, things and animals, we did our extra exercises on liveworksheets andthey learned new words from there. They just didn't learn the collective nouns for countable nouns, but also the collective nouns for the uncountable nouns. Most of them knew the words but they didn't know that they are part of collective nouns. So, it was an awakening knowledge for them.

In the afternoon, I've met P5/1 again to study reading. We've new story today and it was Oxford Reading Tree: The Mirror Island. It was a level 6 book. We talked about the parts of a book first, and followed by word recognitions. We studied the important words that they need to learn in the story. I read the story first, and then they read altogether and I ask someone to read alone, for me to assess their reading skills and guide them. It was a fun reading class today. Some of the students made silly comments and there were really FUNNY!

ตอนบ่ายเจอ ป.5/1 อีกครั้งเพื่อเรียนการอ่าน วันนี้เรามีเรื่องใหม่มานำเสนอเรื่อง Oxford Reading Tree: The Mirror Island มันเป็นหนังสือระดับ 6 เราพูดถึงส่วนต่างๆ ของหนังสือก่อน แล้วตามด้วยการรับรู้คำ เราศึกษาคำศัพท์สำคัญที่พวกเขาต้องเรียนรู้ในเรื่อง ฉันอ่านเรื่องราวก่อน จากนั้นพวกเขาก็อ่านทั้งหมด และขอให้บางคนอ่านคนเดียว ให้ฉันประเมินทักษะการอ่านของพวกเขาและแนะนำพวกเขา วันนี้เป็นชั้นเรียนการอ่านที่สนุกสนาน นักเรียนบางคนแสดงความคิดเห็นงี่เง่า และมันก็ตลกจริงๆ!
