Week 8: Monday 16th August 2021

It's a brand new day and another 2 weeks of extended online learning. 

Students are still on track with  their learning even though they were excited to go back to school last week. Nothing is really sure in this times. Nevertheless, their learning should not be compromised and teachers should give all their best to ensure every knowledge and learnings are imparted. In my part, I am really trying my best to do so.

Here's what happened on the first day of this week's online learning.

Both P5/1 and P5/2 started the week with our word bank number 8. We talked about the words, translated them and practiced the spelling. These words are related to Science and would help them improve their vocabulary, since they don't have English Science subject in Thai Programme. I called some of them to practice the spelling and called them in group to practice saying the words.

After studying the word bank, we studied their English book, Everybody Up, Unit 2: Lesson 4: Plants. We started by recognizing the target vocabularies and watched the video about plants after. We read the passage together and I discussed every parts of a plant one by one. To make sure that they understood every part.
