Week 1: Friday, 16th May 2025

Today, the P5/1 students had their reading class. We began with a group reading activity focused on the most frequently used words in English, which helped the students improve their recognition and pronunciation of high-frequency vocabulary. Following this, each student participated in a one-on-one reading session with me, allowing for more personalized feedback and support in developing their reading fluency and confidence.

The P5/2 students continued their Grammar topic on capital letters. They started by reviewing the previous lesson to reinforce their understanding of the rules and proper usage. Afterward, they completed related exercises in their books to apply what they had learned. The class also took part in a group reading activity to further enhance their reading comprehension and vocabulary development.

During the Extra English lesson, the students watched the English movie The Croods. Watching English movies is a valuable learning tool as it exposes students to natural language usage, varied accents, and real-life conversation patterns. It also helps improve their listening skills, vocabulary, and overall comprehension in an engaging and enjoyable way.

As we wrap up a productive and enjoyable week, I’d like to wish all the students and their families a peaceful and joyful weekend. May it be filled with rest, laughter, and quality time together. See you all next week, refreshed and ready for more learning!
