Week 4: Friday, 6th June 2025

Today was an exciting day as I awarded the Best Q1 Projects: “All About Me” to both P5/1 and P5/2. The winners got to choose from a variety of prizes—and unsurprisingly, everyone picked Robux, a popular in-game currency that lets them customize and enhance their game characters. After that, we celebrated the Week 3 Spelling Perfect 10 scorers, followed by the weekly Lucky Manut draw. This time was extra special because a few Super Dooper Mega Over OMG Lucky Manut winners received a surprise treat—KFC!

In class, P5/1 continued their lesson in Everybody Up. We reviewed the Student Book and then focused on the story of Christopher Columbus in the Everybody Up Workbook. The students participated in a discussion about the story and completed the remaining workbook activities, reinforcing their reading comprehension and historical understanding.

Meanwhile, P5/2 worked on their vocabulary in Word Bank #4. I discussed each word’s meaning, gave the Thai translations, and guided them through pronunciation practice. We then proceeded to Everybody Up: Unit 1, Lesson 4 – The Travels of Marco Polo. The class engaged in a conversation about the story and responded to comprehension questions to ensure they grasped the key ideas.

During Extra English, the students finished watching the movie Ninja Kids. It was a fun and relaxing way to wrap up the week, while also helping students improve their listening skills by hearing natural English conversation in context.

It was a fun and fulfilling Friday—great job to all the students for their hard work and enthusiasm this week!
