Week 2: Tuesday, 20th May 2025

     Today, both P5/1 and P5/2 classes completed Everybody Up – Lesson 1, which focused on vacation activities. To help students better connect with the topic, we discussed their own recent vacations and the activities they enjoyed. This personal connection made the lesson more engaging and meaningful. Students also had the opportunity to practice the target language through conversations with their classmates.

     In the second period, P5/2 students continued with the same lesson. They began by reviewing key phrases and vocabulary from the unit, then practiced the target conversation with their peers. To reinforce their understanding, they completed the corresponding pages in their Everybody Up Workbook.

     During the Extra English lesson, students further explored the lesson by completing worksheets that focused on the topic of vacation activities. Once they had finished their work, they were given some free time. This break allowed them to relax, recharge, and develop social skills through informal interactions—important for overall well-being and classroom balance.

     Overall, students were engaged, cooperative, and enthusiastic throughout the day. It was great to see them connecting classroom content to their personal experiences and actively participating in language practice. A wonderful start to the week!
