Week 2: Wednesday, 21st May 2025

Both P5/1 and P5/2 began the day by reviewing a set of the most frequently used English words to strengthen their reading fluency and vocabulary. Afterward, P5/1 continued their Everybody Up lesson on the topic of "Vacation." They practiced the target language and target conversation with their classmates, helping them become more confident in using new expressions. The class also reviewed key phrases from the unit before completing the related activities in their Everybody Up Workbook.

Meanwhile, P5/2 started a new topic in grammar: Common Nouns. To support their understanding, students first watched an educational video about common nouns presented in Thai. This approach helped bridge the language gap and provided a solid foundation for deeper learning. After the video, I explained the concept again in English to reinforce their understanding. The students then participated in a class discussion and completed the corresponding book exercises to apply what they learned.

In the Extra English lesson, students practiced Word Bank #2 using Memrise to help them prepare for their upcoming Spelling Test on Friday. This interactive and independent practice allowed students to strengthen their spelling and vocabulary skills in a fun and engaging way.

Thank you for a productive day! I’d like to commend all the students for their focus, participation, and positive attitude throughout the lessons. Great job, everyone—keep it up!
