Week 2: Thursday, 22nd May 2025

     This morning, P5/1 focused on grammar, specifically common nouns. To support their understanding, the class watched a short educational video in Thai, which helped clarify the concept in a familiar language. We then discussed the topic in English, followed by drills and practice exercises before moving on to their grammar book activities. In the afternoon, students began working on their Quarter 1 Project: “All About Me” using Canva. Integrating online tools like Canva in the classroom not only makes learning more interactive and creative but also helps students develop digital literacy skills—an essential part of their future education and careers.

     P5/2 also spent their afternoon working on their Q1 Project: “All About Me” using Canva. Students enjoyed expressing themselves through design while practicing sentence structure, vocabulary, and presentation skills. Projects like this encourage both creativity and self-awareness, making learning more meaningful and personal.

     During the Extra English lesson, students completed pages in their Extra English Workbook, which reviewed key content from this week’s lessons in Everybody Up, Grammar, and Word Bank. This helped reinforce their learning and gave them a chance to reflect on what they’ve accomplished throughout the week.

     To end the day on a special note, I’d like to say how proud I am of all the students. Their hard work, curiosity, and growing confidence make each day a joy. Let’s carry this positive energy into the rest of the quarter!
