Week 2: Friday, 23rd May 2025

Today, P5/1 had their Reading Class. I assessed each student’s reading ability and provided books that are appropriate to their individual reading levels. This personalized approach helps ensure that students remain both challenged and confident as they continue to build their reading fluency and comprehension.

P5/2 began the day with their Week 2 Spelling Test. Before the test, we briefly reviewed the spelling words together to reinforce their understanding and boost their confidence. After the test, the students had their Reading Class, during which I also assessed their reading skills and distributed books suited to their current reading levels.

During the Extra English Lesson, students watched the English movie “The Karate Kid.” Watching movies in English helps students improve their listening skills, vocabulary, and comprehension in a natural and enjoyable way. After the movie, we had a fun picnic where students brought snacks to share with their classmates. This activity promoted friendship, communication, and a sense of community—a great way to end the week on a positive note.

Overall, it was a productive and enjoyable day. I'm proud of the students for their efforts and positive attitude. Wishing everyone a restful and happy weekend!
